Grapher Tool

A colorful, user-friendly, multi-purpose graphing tool that caters to all your high school Math graphing needs!

This powerful tool can be used to plot graphs of a wide variety of functions. It is useful for demonstrating linear, quadratic, cubic, exponential, logarithmic, monomial, reciprocal and trigonometric graphs.

Caters to all use of technology recommendations of the US Common Core Standards for functions.

Functions studied in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus courses can be graphed.

Functions studied in the Singapore Secondary (upper and lower Sec) curriculum in the different streams (NA / NT) and subjects (Maths / Ad. Maths) are also covered.

Plot multiple graphs on the same set of axes, locate points of intersection of the graphs, zoom in and out.

Build new functions from existing functions by changing parameters and study the transformation of graphs – vertical and horizontal shifts, stretch and reflection.

The following function attributes can be investigated using the grapher:
(a) domain and range
(b) intercepts with the axes
(c) turning points, minima and maxima
(d) asymptotes
(e) shape and symmetry
(f) periodicity and amplitude
(g) average rate of change
(h) intervals on which the function increases/decreases
(i) the discrete or continuous nature of the graph.

Additional functionality includes the ability to enter and validate points plotted on a graph, and draw the tangent to a graph and find the gradient.
