WHAT TO EXPECT:

This tour can be driven in either direction, east to west, or reverse – it’s your choice.

The coastline along the Great Ocean Road is incredibly scenic. Every corner opens a new vista and you will want to stop frequently for the views and photos. The tour is designed to help you know the best places to stop, and which ones are OK to skip if you are limited for time.

The most famous highlight is of course the 12 Apostles and the collection of rock formations on and off the coastline. The tour will ensure that you know how to prioritize your time to the most rewarding locations, and also recommend some of the less-visited viewpoints.

As well as the many outstanding views, we'll pass through some classic beach towns and there are many places where we can take a nice hike through rainforest or a bushwalking to waterfalls.

There are excellent opportunities to spot koalas, kangaroos and native Australian birdlife, some at very reliable locations.

In fact, there are so many stops to make, it can be overwhelming to know where to focus your valuable time. The tour commentary will make sure you know which are the "not to be missed" locations, and which places are a bonus if we have enough time. You won’t miss any of the best things to see and do.

++ Continued use of GPS/Location Services in the background increases battery usage. We strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. Avoid using a direct connection to the USB port of a rental vehicle.

DOWNLOADING:
The apps are larger in size in order to work offline. You must be on a wifi network to download as the Store may block the download over mobile/cellular networks.

IPADS
** iPad models must include a GPS chip. This app can only be downloaded onto Wifi + Cellular models of iPad. Wifi-only iPad models are unable to play commentary automatically as they do not have the required GPS chip.
