App Store Description

Manage your music and details for Group Fitness classes.

Flexible options for the creation of fitness programs, and the tracks that make them up. Designed to allow for flexible programming, whilst ensuring full control of the program.

Manage Music

You must already have your music copied onto your device, and present in the Apple Music app.

For each program you teach, you define the tracks that make up the program, and then use this template to import releases from the music library on your device. Use these as the base for mixes for your classes.

Create mixes easily and quickly, allowing you to see the run time for the class. Each track type only shows the tracks for that type and program, no more needing to go back and forth using song names to work out which song is for which program.

Put in "Pauses" after tracks, allowing for scheduled drink breaks and time to change equipment or demo moves. Press play and that it, no more touching your device until the class ends. Removes the need to go back and forward to your device to pause and rewind music. Allows for improved and predictable timing of classes.

Create different program formats that allow you to easily manage you classes, this allows for easy creation of 45 minute and 30 minute classes, allowing you to use the same mix for as many different formats as you wish, define the format once, and use it many times.

Make notes on your classes, releases and tracks, allowing you to have a single source of information for your class data.

Enter choreography notes using specific track times. Use this when learning new choreography to get timely cues as to what to do.

Heart Rate monitoring

If you have a device that is able to store heart rate data into Apple Health app, you can now look at the impact of each track on your heart rate.

Play music

Large buttons to allow for control of playback.

Automatically turns off shuffle and random play at the start of a class, no more completing track 1 only to have a track 5 play next!

Put in audible queues when using the "pause" functionality so you, and your class, can be ready to go when the music starts again.

Create classes, based on your calendar, allowing you to assign mixes to classes, and record information about the class. Quick start of a class from the main screen.

"Practice Mode" allows you to play through a mix, including Pauses, without recording it as a class.

Sync between devices

Using Apple iCloud sync your class and release details between devices. Note, this does NOT sync any music. You must ensure you sync your music using the Apple Music app and iTunes. No music is provided with this app.

GroupFitness uses data from the Apple Health app in order to display Heart Rate and Energy Usage data.
