Guess Greek is an app designed to help (me) learn and retain modern greek language. The app -- and its users help create and maintain a robust english-greek-english dictionary. At present, the dictionary contains just under 4000 words, as well as 60+ conjugated verbs.

Guess Greek is an app designed to help (me) learn and retain modern greek language. The app -- and its users help create and maintain a robust english-greek-english dictionary. At present, the dictionary contains just under 4000 words, as well as 60+ conjugated verbs.
The app lets you learn translations, conjugate verbs. You can take a quiz, and keep track of scores.
All greek words are synthesized, so that you may here a reasonable voice speaking the word. The rate of speech is adjustable by the user.
Other than listen to a word, you may also record the word to compare your pronunciation to the computer. Her name by the way, is "Melissa".
There are also Flash cards, greek letters and numbers.
No app is without issues, so there is a facility to record these and submit them to the developers.
GuessGreek works nicely on both iPhones and iPads
