How important are customer reviews for both future prospects and service providers? Very important, as it turns out. The fact is, 90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business. And 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations!

Haj & Umrah Reviews has been in the making for the past three years. Those behind the idea, are two dedicated brothers working within the industry, British & Saudi Arabian.

The market relies on independent sites, which we highlighted was in itself the very weakness. Only can those directly involved, be the best of inspectors when authenticating reviews or identifying deliberate misuse.

Haj & Umrah Reviews had to be re developed several times and we accept this will continue. Always keeping in pace with the Ministry of Haj & Umrah, that has introduced excellent new measures, protecting the pilgrims welfare and experience. The Custodians of the two Haramain’s want complete transparency and accountability between the service provider and pilgrim.

Haj & Umrah Reviews hopes to be an additional tool to this great initiative being implemented, promising pilgrims memorable memories through great experiences.

Haj & Umrah Reviews has kept the application very simple. The idea was not to over burden the users - instead creating an important source point. Simple but very effective, we hope you’ll all agree when seeing it in motion.

The application has been created for all interested parties: Pilgrims-Future Pilgrims-Browsers-Service Providers. Helping everyone carry out proper checks and helping service providers to continuously improve.

How does it work? Easy, those having performed Haj or Umrah will assist those yet to perform the pilgrimage. They will simply leave a short review about their overall experience, positive and negative. Answering simple questions, that will apply across all elements, scoring the service provider with a final star rating.

Haj and Umrah Reviews has created icons helping identify companies that are Licensed by the Ministry of Haj & Umrah to carry out these services.

Reviews can be left for any service provider you’ve chosen to travel with. Licensed and Unlicensed, identifying a transparent platform for all respected parties.

Transparency is the key factor here, allowing pilgrims to immediately identify which companies hold which credentials in terms of approval by the host country (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

In order for us to reassure our users, we have created an authentication tick, it will appear next to all companies who have been verified against their claimed credentials. This tick will appear ‘GREEN’ upon verification.

The application also allows reviewers (pilgrims), the choice to be messaged by perspective pilgrims, who may require further information. This option can be enabled/disabled.

Haj & Umrah Reviews has also created a special rule, whereby male users will not be able to message female users.

The reviewer (pilgrim) can also upload three pictures from their blessed journey, this will be published within our Gallery for others to see and like.

Tour Operators will be expected to register, uploading their correct information and highlighting their credentials - There are also further options available that can be added through upgrading these basic profiles.
