This app provides quick weight estimates for halibut and salmon—designed for recreational anglers and is fully functional offline.

Halibut weights are estimated from fork length using least squares fits, including the widely used 1989 IPHC chart (IPHC 2003) and updated formulas for regulatory areas 2A, 2B, 2C, 3A, and 3B (see IPHC-2023-AM099-INF04).
For salmon, a length × girth² formula provides approximate weights.
