What is it about?
Haryana Harit initiative will ask people to plant minimum 5 trees in the state and upload photographs of the site. The idea behind the environment drive is to involve NGOs, clubs, schools, colleges and corporates of the state in tree plantation. Top volunteers with maximum plantations will get awards from the Haryana chief minister who will travel to every district. Every single citizen of the state will be connected via this app which will showcase the number of trees planted by an individual. Randeep Hooda and Pareeniti Chopra are endorsing the initiative.
