Our exclusive features-WordWinks and Retell, Record & Share-give YOU the tools to strengthen your child’s vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension while having fun!

PARENTS, KIDS AND EDUCATORS LOVE You TELL Me Stories!

“We liked how the emphasis was on HOW you read to your child, not necessarily WHAT you read to your child. Although content is important, the approach and presentation of the content is key. …

The Retell, Record and Share feature gives children the opportunity to practice their storytelling skills--an often overlooked and essential activity after reading with a child. Retelling and summarizing a story builds important skills such as recall/memory, clarity of thought and delivery, sequencing, speaking skills, vocabulary, and analysis.” – Academics’ Choice Awards

"I read with my 2½ and 6 year old daughters, 'Goldilocks and the 3 Bears' and they absolutely loved it. When we were reading the story together, sparks were going off with tons of ideas on how I could implement this with my own students." -- Lauren Turk, Speech and Language Pathologist, New York

EXCLUSIVE FEATURES
*WordWinks technique weaves onscreen questions and comments into the story to maximize vocabulary, comprehension and listening skills

*Retell, Record & Share:
-Give your child a special gift: “retelling” the story is important practice for developing listening and speaking skills. It offers a chance to learn and utilize new vocabulary…put ideas in order so they make sense…identify important details…and build memory
-Help your child record his or her own version of the story and share it with Grandma and other loved ones, teachers and friends…right from the app!

*Pages cannot be turned until your child hears the entire narration, which promotes listening and comprehension skills

*Educate your child even when you’re not available with built-in narration and entertaining character voices by a master teacher

RAVES!

“I’ve been creating stories for children for nearly 40 years, and highly recommend You TELL Me Stories.’ -- Arthur Yorinks, Children’s Book Writer, Caldecott Medal winner

“The stories are engaging and appealing. Every home, classroom and library serving preschool and primary grade children should have access to You TELL Me Stories.” -- Judith C. Hochman Ed.D., Windward Teacher Training Institute

ABOUT THE STORY
Author “Arthur Yorinks has a terrifically funny voice that begs to be read out loud. When Lulu asks her parents for a dog for the 40th time, they give her a toy poodle -- not the miniature but the stuffed kind. She throws a tantrum … but when Harry the poodle wakes her up with a squeaky bark, Lulu is having none of it: 'You're not a dog. You're just a stuffed animal,' she growls at him. They argue, Harry fails her dog biscuit test and goes wild for bagels instead, they argue some more, and Harry tells her he's going back to where he came from -- Paris. Lulu decides to go, too. She has the perfect beret to wear on their trip. ” (NY Times)
