In many cases a country’s blood reserves are not sufficient to cover people’s needs. Public and private hospitals demand a specific number of blood units for the safe completion of a surgery procedure and for the smooth operation of following surgeries.

healthFINGERTIP is a global online platform for iOS and other devices that matches blood requests with blood donators in each country and it’s free of charge.


How it works
=========

All blood enquiries are open and anonymous. At first stage, the only details that are displayed publicly are:
- number of blood units needed
- blood type

As soon as interest for blood donation is submitted, below details will automatically appear privately to blood recipient and potential blood donator to facilitate the completion of the donation
- Name and Hospital of blood recipient (will be appeared to donator)
- Username of donator (will be appeared to recipient)
