Hello Syracuse!

The Hello Syracuse! app encourages you to get out and explore the City of Syracuse and your local community. By participating in the events and activities listed here, you’ll learn about the city’s individual neighborhoods, programs, rich history, and cultural activities. The more you do, the higher you’ll climb on the leaderboard — don’t forget to record it all in the app! All you have to do it take a photo as detailed in each challenge description and upload it here. It’s as easy as taking a selfie.

Be sure to turn on your push notifications to receive public safety alerts and get up-to-date information on resources, events, and activities happening near you.

This program is managed by the Syracuse Trauma Response Team (TRT).

HOW IT WORKS
After downloading the Hello Syracuse! app and signing in, you’ll find a list of or activities to complete. These activities are Syracuse community events, resources, and programs for you to experience and explore. Complete activities by following the “how to complete” instructions for each one. All activities can be completed by taking a picture or choosing a picture from your photo gallery. Once uploaded, you will receive confirmation that the activity has been completed and you’ll be able to see your photo in the community feed for your neighborhood. Check the leaderboard to see where you stand against your family, friends, and neighbors. Use the event calendar to see what's happening in your neighborhood and what activities are coming up for you to complete. You’ll also find a directory of city and community resources available to residents along with volunteer opportunities.
