We've trained Penny on millions of establishments to accurately categorize your spending. Over 90% of your purchases will be automatically and accurately categorized with no effort from you. For those tricky businesses that sell a bit of everything, we've got you covered! Penny analyzes their typical sales to suggest the most likely categories, saving you from scrolling through endless category lists.

We're all different, and you can tell Penny how you want things categorized – in plain English! Walmart trips are groceries? Got you covered! Penny learns from your actions and adapts to your preferences.


FORECAST SPENDING AND FINANCIAL INSIGHTS

With no work from you, Penny builds a picture of your spending habits. This gives her a unique understanding of your spending patterns, highlighting areas where you might be overspending or even underspending to reach your financial goals. We don't believe in unattainable budgets. Penny guides you to spend sustainably on what makes you happy and less on things you could care less about.

We've designed the app's home page to provide instant, simplified information. A single tap on the chart drills down into the details if you want to take a closer look. We've made a significant effort to make the app immediately useful, so you don't have to spend precious minutes just to see if that refund came in. Maybe you shouldn't be using the app at all – just ask Penny!
Everything's in the Dashboard: Penny even explains why those few purchases couldn't be categorized. Maybe the establishment sells a wide variety of things, or perhaps you spent an unusually high amount there.

PENNY IS STILL LEARNING

We've done our best to make Penny accurate, clear, and even funny, but we're still in early Beta. We can only support a limited number of users, so you might be put on a waitlist as our AI servers get up to speed. We don't track investments yet, but that's on the roadmap. We want Penny to be helpful in your day-to-day spending decisions, not just your investment strategies – but we'll get there!
