We created HiRoad Zero to reward your good driving choices with something that can help reduce your carbon footprint—planting trees.

HiRoad Zero is currently available for Rhode Island residents only.

A typical passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year. You can always drive less often or save gas by driving smoothly. However, to get to net-zero carbon, you have to capture CO2 from the air. Planting trees is one way to do that.

The app calculates a mindful driving score and estimates your carbon footprint based on how you drive. HiRoad’s plan is to plant trees, at no cost to you, to offset a portion of your emissions as your driving score rises.

By using the app, you’ll be on your way to becoming a net-zero carbon driver.
