HKJC Smart Tree

HKJC Smart Tree provides an interactive game that brings you closer to the urban trees in Hong Kong. Through the Geographic Information Systems (GIS), you could locate the trees nearby with the smart sensors installed, letting you know more about tree features and corresponding tilting angle measurement, alongside some interesting mission are available for you to complete among your peers.

Commenced in February 2018, the 3-year pilot Project -- “Jockey Club Smart City Tree Management Project” is supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Led by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the collaborative partners of the project team are: The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong). This Project is also widely supported by various government departments of HKSAR.
