Play all the key scales and modes on the HMX Color Guitar Fretboard.

This app presents new "HMX - Harmony Matrix®" color music theory.
This is a patented music approach that uses simple box patterns for Speed Harmony™ ~ Power Referencing. The entire harmony system has been simplified and reduced down to its "core" working order.

At the heart of The Harmony Matrix® is the "Universal E Music Code™.”
The E is 3 parallel lines with 4 colors in each row. ( 12 Sound-colors.)
These 3 lines look like the letter "E”.
The "E" sound-color order NEVER CHANGES.
Three parallel lines is also the mathematical symbol for "Congruence"
which means, all the parts are listed in agreement and harmony. What is unique to the Harmony Matrix® is its Perfect Harmony Sound Alignment, it produces simple "movable" box patterns for referencing all the key chords and scales. Plus, it keeps them all listed in "Master Harmony" (functional) playing order.

These simple box patterns or sound shapes are a new form of music formula.
These patterns relate to a new music measuring device called; The HMX Uniclature™.
This is an advanced sound ruler that will build any scale or chord by using a formula and turning it into a "Moveable" HMX Sound Pattern which is great for speed referencing and transposing music.

HMX Sound Patterns produce a form of "Speed Harmony™ with Power Referencing.”

1 HMX Sound Pattern = 15 groups of the exact same intervals related to that one movable HMX Sound Pattern. One pattern acts as an overall sound type which is related to all 12 chromatic pitches - enharmonic pitches are included. Once you learn the E order, it is easy to calculate the correct tones that fall inside each (chromatic) position on the matrix. Then, you just play the HMX Sound-colors.

You only need to learn a few HMX Patterns and move them around the color matrix to “OVERVIEW" the entire operational harmony system. "Get The Big Music Picture!"

Example: Three Sound-color boxes grouped together that form the shape of a number "7" with the right side having two boxes stacked straight up and down, is equal to the HMX Major Triad Pattern. The HMX Minor Triad Pattern looks like the letter "L" with 3 boxes. A small 1 4 5 Key = 3 boxes stacked vertically. The middle box names the key, Major or minor. With only 3 simple HMX Patterns it will show you the "connected and operational" key system.

There are also several Color Blues Lessons with backing tracks that relate to the three forms of Blues - Relative Minor, Parallel Major and Major Blues. Each key has special Lead Guitar - "Target Tone Maps” that are viewed over each of the key's chord types. The Harmony Matrix® shows each HMX Color Scale on the Practice Page so, you can hear and see how the scale relates to all the "integrated keys." This allows you to calculate advanced key modulations and harmony applications.

Harmony is commonly taught at college level.
