Hobbimates is about social collaboration. Sharing on Hobbimates will introduce users to others who are nearby and have the same passions, so that meaningful online/offline relationships can be formed in a new and easy way.

Share the things you love to do, create new experiences with Events & Clubs, build up your Public Journal so everyone knows what you’re really about.

The app where we don't dread what we're missing out on, but see what we could be doing.

We built Hobbimates to fuel collaboration, community and adventures throughout the real world.

WHY
· We wanted to take all the time wasted on social media, and turn it into something useful. The more we scroll on Hobbimates the more we learn about the things we love to do, discover worlds around us we didn't even know existed and introduce ourselves to people nearby that we'll vibe with. 

HOBBITAGS
· Pair posts with Hobbitags and people who have the same hobbies can see your post. Wether you’re passionate about #painting or #skydiving, and anything in between! Always have someone for your next adventure :)

LOCATION
· All posts made on Hobbimates have a location attached to them so that locals with common passions can comment and interact with you. Be amongst people you actually want to meet.

Hobbimates is real.
· THERE IS NO ANONYMITY.
· On Hobbimates, we use real names. 
· All accounts and posts on Hobbimates are public, so be loving and respectful.
· The feed is MODERATED for safety, and we are always scanning for scammers/bots.
· No Politics. If you want to share about politics we kindly invite you to post on other, fundamentally more annoying social apps.
· Always be kind, honest and respectful. Hobbimates will take down users and posts deemed unsafe by the community. This is important because people actually meet up.
· Hobbimates will continue to improve and become more perfect every day. Making a real life community building engine takes time, but we're on it.
