Hollard SP Inspect

The SP app is intended for customers that do not have access to a smart phone device and can visit an approved provider to perform the inspection on their behalf. Customers that have a smart phone and wish to perform this at their own convenience can download the Hollard customer app.

The pre inspection is a mandatory pre-requisite for all customers that take up our Car Lite cover. This is required to evidence the current condition of the vehicle and vehicle registration. This must be performed within the first 30 days from start date of the cover.

The post repair inspection is required after every accidental damage incident that confirms the repairs to the damaged components of the vehicle. This is required to ensure continuity of your cover.

This tool is an easy to use electronic platform which does not require any paper work and offers a simple and secure authentication process. The inspection process is short and effortless and can be completed in a couple of minutes.

Do’s and don’ts of using the app.
- Ensure there is adequate network connectivity and signal strength to ensure a successful upload
- Images should be clear and of the required parts of the vehicle as specified
- Access to the registered email or contact number on the policy to obtain access of the one-time pin
- Select the correct vehicle to be inspected
- Send the customer a copy of the inspection
