** This is the installer companion app to the HomeEXCEPT platform. This app can only be used by an authorized HomeEXCEPT installation partner.

HomeEXCEPT's non-intrusive monitoring platform doesn’t use cameras, listening devices or wearables. It puts privacy first using smart sensors to create anonymous events. Subscribers get insights into presence, occupancy, motion, heat and more. This information is communicated with our easy-to-use app. Subscribers create custom notifications for events they want to know about. Examples include long heat events (ie. stove) or lack of motion or presence. Our products provide you with EXCEPTional Peace of Mind without compromising privacy.

** Designed for aging in place **
Aging in our own home can present many challenges for families and caregivers. HomeEXCEPT provides notifications related to common concerns so action can be taken.
- Has the stove been on too long?
- Has there been movement?
- Has someone spent too long in one place?
- Gone to bed on time?
- Cooking and using the kitchen?
- Using the bathroom as expected?
- Is the room temperature normal?

** Privacy First **
To achieve non-intrusive monitoring we have done everything possible to minimize the use of identifiable data. We do not know, names, addresses, locations or anything about the people who live with our sensors. The only information we know is the mobile phone number of the subscriber and authorized guests (care givers). The subscriber understands the context and what is important to know about where our sensors are installed.

** Easy to use but powerful options **
We designed the HomeEXCEPT app to be easy to use while offering options to help you with your most pressing worries. You create alerts to let you know when a sensor event has or has not occurred.

** Heat Sensor **
Our heat sensor is the core of the platform. It determines whether something is hot (ie. a stove) or cold (ie. fridge, open window). It also detects and counts people whether moving or stationary. Great for questions like; Is the stove on? Did Mom leave her curling iron on? Did the caregiver arrive? Has Dad been in one place for too long? There is no presence so where is Mom?

** Motion Sensor **
Our motion sensor is similar to a security system. It covers more area than our heat sensor for movement. Great for questions like; Is someone moving around? Which room are they in? When combined with the heat sensor you know movement vs. staying stationary.

** Environmental Sensor
The environmental sensor measures air quality, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), humidity and room temperature. Great for questions like; Is the heat too high / low? Is the air quality healthy? Is the air too humid or dry? All these affect the quality of living in the space.

** Light Sensor **
Our light sensor picks up the changes in lumen levels in the home. Great for questions like; Is the lighting level sufficient at night? Is the bedroom light being turned on at odd hours?

** Sound Sensor **
The sound sensor only measures decibel level. It cannot listen. Using decibels you can be alerted when expected sound levels change. Great for questions like; Is the smoke alarm going off? Is the TV volume high again?
