Hooked - Follow, countdown & recommend TV

Hooked gives you the ability to follow, countdown and recommend your favourite shows to your friends. As an idea it was born from two frustrations;

The first being the difficulty of finding out when your favourite shows are on. For example, at Hooked we love this obscure French police drama, Braquo, it’s good cops on the bad side of the law, but we got sick of year after year googling when the next season was going to air and where we could buy it from. We wanted a way that we would be sent an update when all our favourite shows new seasons are announced from the one App.

The second frustration was realising that most of the shows we LOVE would get somewhere between 60% and 75% on other rating sites, shows like The Killing and The Missing, which we would have given 90% or higher. We realised that while an aggregated score was useful, what was more interesting to us was what our friends where watching. It was our friends opinions that we most trusted and Hooked was born from that idea. It is an aggregator of your friends opinions on their favourite shows and gives you the ability to see what they are watching, rating and recommending through an addictive news feed.
