Hoover Ferguson’s Recycle the Gulf is an environmental program designed to help protect and preserve our environment through reduced and recycled waste generated offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. The Enviro-Pak line of waste compactor products makes it easy for recyclables to be collected, sorted and compacted on the rig. All recyclables are donated to its Louisiana-based partner, Arc of Acadiana, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of those with developmental disabilities.

Recycle the Gulf – Program Overview
• Rent or purchase an Enviro-Pak compactor to be located onboard a rig operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
• Recyclables are sorted and compacted on the rig, then shipped in eco-friendly bags to the rig’s dock facility.
• Specialty containers labelled ‘Recycled Waste Only’ located at the rig’s dock facility store incoming eco-friendly bags of recyclables from each participating rig.
• Hoover Ferguson manages the collection and exchange of the bags, as well as delivery to Arc of Acadiana.
• Contributions are accounted for by each participating company and monthly reports are posted to the customer portal site.
• Arc of Acadiana employees grade the recycle material.
• All revenue from recycled material is donated to the Arc of Acadiana.
