App Store Description

Horse Passport has been designed for the horse owner or a responsible party that provides care on behalf of an owner.

This application has been designed, developed and field tested here in Australia in conjunction with horse professionals, property owners, vets, farriers, dentists, transport companies, breeders and owners. The product is inexpensive and will help you save time and money.

What you decide to record is up to you. Horse Passport will provide you the information you record when you need it.

- Attach files like invoices, ownership papers, sales records, vet reports, x-rays, pregnancy results, etc. Manage links to other reference data like your horse society, studbook, YouTube videos, etc.

- Maintain a timeline of photos of the horse from birth through to end of life. Add the horse at birth so you can record and reference the data history as required.

- Set Reminders of up-coming events, vaccinations and drenching or competition dates.

- Manage horse arrivals and departures – this also includes the professionals that attend to your horse. Diseases are carried by horses and people and if you have a situation you will be well placed to short circuit the spread. For arrivals we recommend the horse be placed in a holding yard until they are cleared to join other horses.

- Log important notes to better manage the property; e.g., low on fuel or feed or the front gate needs repair. Other than logging activities against the horse, you can also log behavioural notes; e.g., the horse is head shy, doesn't like the crush or needs a pal when traveling.

- You can access the app and log activities when phone service is not available and upload data when network service returns or when you connect to a WiFi service.

- Pair the app to a Bluetooth-enabled scanner and identify the horse id via a microchip – available for Thoroughbreds and others coming.

- Record and view your horses location, you can assign a barn or paddock reference that makes sense to you. When you take your horse out to an event, you can also update the location in one click. If a virus or disease ends up being reported from that event, the health authorities will have the details they require to reduce the spread. See the traceability section or email info@horsepassport.com.au for further information.
