What is it about?
Stature estimation is a daily problem in the ICU, while attempting to set tidal volume or to adjust drug posology. Height measurement in the supine position has proved to be unaccurate using conventional Tools. Our aim was to provide clinicians simple formulas derived from anthropometric and forensic science, in order to evaluate patients' stature from limb measurements.
