Give PBX users easy access to their Asterisk PBX extension from everywhere with ease.
iBat User shows the state of your PBX extension both at a glance and in detail. It lets you place and control calls on the PBX from your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to any destination using the device's contacts list.
This app is dedicated to easy going users.
They can see the state of all PBX terminals, phones and trunks they care about; they can see their active calls. They can close (hangup) or transfer their calls in all simplicity.
iBat User is the workhorse iBat app providing rich call facilities to regular users.
Use your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to originate calls from your Asterisk deskphone to any destination, internal or external to the PBX. See the state of your internal call destination before placing the call.
Choose with one touch the outside trunk (among those you were given access by your administrator) to place your calls; use your device contacts to place external calls: no more looking up a phone number to call from your deskphone.
Use iBat User while you are out of the office to get in touch with your colleagues, without operator intervention; call only if you see that your colleague's phone is not busy.
iBat User will place the call from your iPhone and let the PBX connect you with the desired person, bypassing the operator.
iBat Apps need custom (but free) server side software to perform their functions. Both the software stack and the setup instructions are available on the iBat site.
Use iBat User to make the best use of your Asterisk PBX and with ease.
Setup all the user's configurations you need.
iBat apps support Asterisk based PBX servers only.
It was developed and tested with Asterisk 1.6.x servers. It should work on any Asterisk host supporting the release 1.6 (and up) AMI command set. It uses MeetMe AMI events to identify conference calls.
