The IdeasUnlimited Support app is designed to work as another sales and marketing medium to attract potential clients as well as an internal solution to help us provide on-demand 24/7 social media and email support to our clients. The app will be used by anyone interested in finding out more about our company and services as well as IdeasUnlimited’s workers.
Use as a Marketing Tool
We will use the app to update our service offerings, achievements, value-added features, and the edge we have over our competitors. The app will serve as our sales pitch to clients, candidates, and even affiliate leads.
Use as an Internal Solution
We want to provide on-demand social media and email support to our clients in a timely fashion. This way workers don’t need to be dedicated to a project but rather can handle as many projects as they can manage whenever they have some free time. Also, the clients will always have coverage, without having to incur the costs of hiring round-the-clock workers. Workers will only work for them when an email or message comes in.
Hence, the password-protected part of the app will work as an internal solution. It will notify all the workers assigned to a project that new email or social media message (query) has come in. This requires push notifications outside the app to get the workers’ attention right away and will happen only if their Internet is functional.
The worker who is available to address that message will accept the task (query) on the app and then address the message outside the app. Once the message is answered, the worker will mark that inquiry as complete on the app. The workers who are unavailable will reject the query and state the reason why they are doing so. All this information will get stored in our backend portal.
The app will be linked to one Gmail account per project that either receives forwarded emails from other accounts [generic email services (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook) and domain email addresses] or has been assigned admin rights to social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Emails meeting certain criteria (non-spam, important emails) will generate push notifications for all relevant workers.
Each worker will be required to create an account on the app with a password. He/she can see the queries available, the ones accepted, the ones rejected, and the ones he/she had first selected but was unable to complete. The latter will be re-assigned to someone else.
