What is it about?

The 2020 Improving Data, Improving Outcomes (IDIO) Virtual Convening is a unique opportunity for Part C and 619 Coordinators, Part B and C Data Managers, and parent leaders to come together to learn ways to improve systems, programs, and practices, data and data systems, and outcomes for young children with disabilities and their families. Plenary sessions feature OSEP and DaSy leadership to both launch and close the event, including updates and answers to questions asked by the participants. Keynote presentations include Professor Emeritus Dr. Steve Tozer, PBS News Anchor Judy Woodruff, and Co-CEO FSG Lauren Smith. During the event, participants will have a chance to engage in role-alike sessions around topics central to their group’s specific needs. Concurrent sessions, led by TA staff from DaSy and the collaborating centers, cover a range of topics, related to leadership, data, and improving outcomes for young children with disabilities.
