What is it about?

We are Indos - an Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant with branches in Broughty Ferry and Cupar. We opened our doors to the community in 1994, and since then have served delicious and high-quality food. Indos is a family run restaurant owned by Alam, a chef with 20 years of experience and an exciting story full of travel, flavour and passion for great food! Alam was a successful chef in a restaurant in America. With a passion for experimenting with flavour and sharing meals with friends, he always dreamt of having his own place. He was heartened by people who loved his food as much as he did and started his journey to make this dream a reality! Alam moved to Scotland to work as a chef and that’s where he found this lovely little place Indos, based in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. In 2015, Alam had the opportunity to take over Broughty Ferry Indos and build the restaurant further. He combined his skills in cooking with his mind for business and has never looked back! Alam takes pride in his reputation as an established family businessman. His loyalty to Indian and Bangladeshi culture and his pride in family tradition set Indos aside from all other Indo-Bangla restaurants.
