App Store Description

The InnerSense app provides a unique resource of multisensory theatre ideas and practical methods for engaging people of all ages and abilities.

You can find detailed ways of working with different props and resources, and how to run themed activities and workshops.

Key features:

- easy to use format for quick access to ideas
- ideas are split into three categories; props, activities and workshops
- pages link to each other to interconnect ideas
- each page is supported by visual demonstrations - photos and videos
- use the search function to easily find specific topics or themes
- use the favourite function to bookmark ideas for later
- Siri shortcuts compatible

All of the ideas have been developed over 25 years and are based on the artistic practice of InnerSense, a charity providing multisensory workshops for people with a wide range of learning difficulties.

To find ideas, you can browse through three categories; props, activities and workshops, or search for a specific item or theme using the search bars.

On each page you will find useful and descriptive information about that particular item, and specific instructions for recreating activities, all of which have been taken from previous InnerSense workshops.

Each page also links to other relevant pages within the app, to enable easy navigation through levels of ideas. For example, Sand prop page links to Beach activity page.

The information within the app is supported by photographic and video examples of InnerSense workshops.

The aim of the app, funded by Arts Council England, is to share InnerSense's practice to encourage and increase engagement, interaction, learning and development in a range of contexts, with children and adults of all abilities.
