Insight Tracking

This application is to provide our clients with a tool to track their drivers when they are transporting company's products. The steps are as follow:
1. Fleet coordinator uses the cloud-based site to enter the route number; origin and destination address; departure date and time; and the driver's cell phone number.
2. System send text to driver's cell phone with the route's link.
3. Driver clicks on link
4. Insight Tracking© application opens, and using Google Maps© ,provides the driver with the best route to reach destination.
5. Driver is tracked while following the route.
6. Tracking is completed when the driver reach 80 meters from destination or when he/she press the "Finish" button.
7. While the driver is transporting company's products, the fleet coordinator can see the vehicle's location and speed.
8. After the trip has been completed, the system provides a map showing the entire trip.
9. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The Insight Tracking© application was mainly designed to reduce our clients' product losses while their product is being transported anywhere in the world where there is mobile phone service.
