Unlike other Bible apps that require you to download and/or purchase various modules in order to access extra-Biblical resources, inWord Bible provides all of this built right into the app. This is because we designed inWord with simplicity in mind.

No internet connectivity is needed to read the Bible or to utilize one of its daily reading plans.

However, to reduce the download size of the app and the footprint occupied on your device, most of the extra-Biblical resources are accessed from a remote server on an as-needed basis, which means you will need to be connected to the Internet in order to access (for example), a map or a commentary or a theological article.
