iSDA Soil Adviser - Africa has a user-friendly layout with step-by-step guidance on how to scan the soil.
The soil report will be available on your smartphone within a few minutes.
The report indicates the level of total nitrogen (N), total phosphorus (P), and exchangeable potassium (K) in the soil, as well as pH level, organic carbon and cation exchange capacity. These parameters are placed into one of three ranges: low, adequate and high.
The report also specifies the crop types suitable for the scanned soil and provides crop-specific fertilizer recommendations.
