Astrophotography is a window into the cosmos, letting you capture celestial beauty with your smartphone. iSkyMatch transforms your stargazing experience, making it accessible and affordable for amateur astronomers and enthusiasts.
With your smartphone and iSkyMatch, you can unleash the art of astrophotography. You don't need a high-end camera; your iPhone's camera is enough to capture stunning images of planets, stars, and galaxies. It's a simple, cost-effective way to explore the universe.

iAstrophotography is all about capturing the cosmos with your iPhone. The iSkyMatch App enhances this experience with:

Image Pixel Brightness Correction: iSkyMatch ensures your astrophotos are crisp and vibrant, correcting image pixel brightness.
Total Sky Photon Counting Percentage: Wondering how many photons you're capturing from the night sky? iSkyMatch provides a precise percentage, ideal for studying celestial signals and objects.

Getting started with iSkyMatch is easy:
Attach your smartphone to your telescope or binoculars using an adapter.
Explore the night sky through the eyepiece, capturing images and correcting brightness with the iSkyMatch App.
These adapters are widely available, compatible with various telescopes and binoculars. The quality of your results depends on your equipment and smartphone's capabilities, but iSkyMatch optimizes your experience.

Instruction for Use of iSkyMatch App
1-Getting Started: After installing iSkyMatch, tap the app icon to launch it. On the initial page, you'll find two essential links: one for a YouTube Video Instruction and another for sources of astronomical information related to using the iSkyMatch App.
2-Selecting Your SmartPhone Image: To pick a sky photo from your smartphone album, tap the top right rectangular arrow.
3-Astrophotography Image Process Analysis: For astrophotography brightness and colour correction analysis, click the top left green arrow.
4-Measuring Photon Number Percentage (PhotonNo%): Your smartphone screen will automatically display the processed colour image of your telescope/binocular photo in plain red.
Now, a user has the option to navigate by clicking through buttons at the top center, presented in three separate segments:
The first "Origin" button allows you to match the picked original image with other image processing buttons for astronomical image analysis comparison.
The "Corrected Brightness" button enhances the colour and brightness of your telescope/binocular photo for improved astrophotography quality and resolution.
The "PhotonNo%" button processes the colour image to determine the Photon Number Percentage. Tap the center of the red-coloured portrait, and at the bottom of the image, you'll see the estimated PhotonNo% value along with a slider magnitude at the top. You can choose to save or snapshot the red-coloured portrait with the estimated PhotonNo% value in your smartphone photo library album to record the observed total Photon Number Percentage.
5-Explore and interpret PhotonNo% values:
5% difference indicates no matching.
1-5% suggests moderate similarity.
1% means substantial similarity.
0% implies perfect color matching.
