What is it about?

iTtreatMD’s Patient Encounter app enables a healthcare provider (doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and support staff) to quickly enter, review and graph key patient parameters that are critical to a pending encounter. No longer will it be necessary to page through the EMR or lab result slips to find key values that are needed during a patient visit. In addition the usual pre-visit values like height and weight are captured and the patient’s BMI calculated, charted and graphed. These entries are immediately transferred to the iTreatMD Patient Engagement app. Not only does the provider have the important lab tests results available for review but also the graphed values can be shared directly with the patient in the examining room.

In the past the doctor had to pull the chart from the door of the examining room, quickly page through the chart for the latest lab values and quickly assess their import. Also the doctor might ask the staff – “why is the patient here today”. The iTreatMD Encounter app integrates both those activities. Those precious patient encounter minutes can be focused on the patient and plan of treatment – not clicking through the EMR and looking for the visit reason.
