iTrumpet

We at idvance LLC are proud to introduce version 3.0 of iTrumpet - updated for the iPhone 4, 5, 6 and 6 Plus.

iTrumpet is for people who play "real world" trumpets:
A. As always, iTrumpet does not require you to blow into the iPhone microphone. You blow a real trumpet using a range of mouth positions. We do not require confusing alternate behavior for your lips and tongue (we see blowing into the iPhone microphone as an awkward gimmick, not as a practical design point).
B. iTrumpet does not require contrary fingering, You play iTrumpet like a real trumpet, using your right fingers to press keys. To control embouchure, and to get open notes, you use your left thumb - which is idle when playing a real trumpet.
C. iTrumpet simulates a B flat (transposing) trumpet with a full three octave range - and with respectable sound quality for a simulator.

We designed and tested iTrumpet with experienced trumpet players. We believe that if you are a student or a professional musician, you will find our solution most compatible with how you play your real world instrument.
