Jab Messenger — Send Text from Alexa & Amazon Echo

Jab is a fast, free and secure messaging app that works with Amazon Alexa.

Send messages to your friends via Jab, they will listen to them from Amazon Echo and reply directly with their voice.

Getting Started

1. Download the iOS app and register with your Amazon account

2. Look for "Jab" in the Skills section of the Alexa app or visit sayjab.com/enable and register with the same Amazon Account as you did for the app.

3. In the app, enable the access to your contacts.
Done!

Now say “Alexa, open Jab"

How to text from Alexa?
Say "Alexa, ask Jab to text John Smith"

For a better recognition make sure to pronounce the full name of your contact.

With Jab you can text any contacts from Alexa

Non users of Jab will receive an SMS from the Jab phone number signed with your name and your phone number.
Users of Jab will receive in app messages and will be able to reply to you so you can read messages from Alexa.

How to read Jab messages from Alexa?
Say "Alexa, ask Jab to read my messages"

Alexa will only read the new messages sent by other Jab users via Alexa or their iPhone.
