June 22, 2070.

A prisoner sentenced to life, James Ork, has spent the last 20 years in solitary confinement. Waiting for death within his cell, James receives an unexpected visitor—a mysterious man he has never seen before. This stranger claims to have enough influence to set James free right now, but in return, he demands a promise.

Rather than die in a cell, James accepts the offer. However, as he steps outside for the first time in two decades, he quickly realizes that the world has changed beyond recognition. Everything feels alien, dangerous, and unpredictable. But instead of questioning how the world ended up this way... he must first kill to survive.

The world is now a nightmarish wasteland, overrun by creatures unlike anything seen before. And James? He is left alone, struggling to survive, haunted by unanswered questions:

- What happened to all the people? Where is everyone?
- What are these creatures, and where did they come from?
- Why didn't the man who freed me warn me about any of this? Is he somehow involved?
- If the world has been like this for years… then who was feeding me in that cell?
