In 1972, a daily newspaper, DAINIK JANAMBHUMI was launched. The second and third editions were launched from Guwahati and Tinsukia in 2001 and, 2004 respectively.
The Group today holds an unique position and commands enormous respect for the role it plays in the Assamese society. Its unbiased presentation of news is its forte and the constructive role and leadership is unmatched by any media in Assam.
