JoeToProPilot is designed to help the beginning instrument student understand and practice some of the confusing aspects of fundamental instrument flying skills such as radial to radial intercepts and holding. This app can also help pros who have turned into Joes for lack of practice.

- Holding help features an input page (random clearance or manual input) followed by several pages that will guide you through how to figure out entry and entry application - ending with an overhead view of what your approach to the holding fix and entry look like.

- Radial to radial intercept page takes inputs from you and then gives you information such as direction to turn, heading to turn to, lead radial, distance on lead radial, distance at intercept, and total time of intercept.

-Point-to-point takes inputs then gives you an RMI view of the correct solution. Use this to hone your interpolation skills.

About the developer:
John Macdonald is a former naval aviator. In his last tour John served as a Navy primary flight instructor flying the T-34C Turbomentor. John currently works as a contract simulator instructor with the Navy. He instructs in the T6B Texan II simulator and teaches primary instrument ground school.
