App Store Description

The App is used by Employees of The JPM Group Companies Ltd and its Authorised Clients.
An Authorised Client is any Company or Business that is Registered to use JPM's OASIS QA Data Recording System.
The App is of no use to and cannot be used by anybody other than JPM Authorised Operators.

The App is essentially a Location Tracker that is controlled exclusively by the Operator.
It is purposefully designed to require minimal user interaction – simply point, scan, move on.

On First Use, the Operator is required to Scan a Barcode / QR Code that contains their own Operator ID Data which is then checked against the Authorised Operators List in the OASIS QA Database.
No further scanning is permitted until a Valid Operator ID Barcode / QR Code has been scanned.
Since the App will normally be installed on an Operator's personal device, the most recently scanned Operator ID is retained when the App is closed and is the default when the App is restarted.
If the App is started with a retained Operator ID, this will again be validated before any further scanning is permitted.

After the Operator ID has been Validated, the Operator then scans a series of Location ID Barcodes / QR Codes.
Each of these Locatioon ID Barcodes / QR Codes uniquely identifies a Specific Location in the Client's premises and is placed in a position at that Location where it can be easily Scanned by the Operator.

When a Location ID Barcode / QR Code is Scanned, the Operator is informed Visually and Audibly that the scan has been accepted (or not).
After each scan, the Operator ID, Location ID, Date & Time Data is automatically transmitted to the OASIS QA Database.
If it is not possible to transmit the data immediately, it is stored until such time as Internet access is available and then transmitted without any further action by the user.
A simple counter display indicates the number of outstanding records (if any) waiting to be transmitted.
