JUDIT_Fiavé

What is it about?

JUDIT_Fiavè is an augmented reality application (AR) realized within the JUDIT (Judicaria Digitale e Interattiva) project for the Archaeological Site of Fiavè. The project JUDIT is funded by Fondazione CARITRO (Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto) focused on the realization of digital and tridimensional contents, accessible through a web portal, QR codes, and augmented reality applications for the valorization of a network of archaeological sites within the area of the Giudicarie and Alto Garda. The augmented reality application for the Archaeological Site of Fiavè allows the users to visualize the reconstruction of some prehistoric pile-dwelling settlements, still partially visible on site. Framing some targets with a smartphone, placed in three areas of the site, the digital reconstructions of several constructive phases enhance the perception of the reality, helping the visitors to understand the evolutionary story of the ancient settlement.
