justaCatholic is a community of Catholics. That is it. We don't care if you are a Roman Catholic, orthodox Catholic, independent Catholic, Old Catholic, or ex-Catholic.

We all share the faith of the early church. The contents of the Nicean Creed are our statement of principles. If you believe the contents of the creed then you are welcome. The other dogmas of individual churches (Rome, Antioch, etc.) are fine to hold, but we don't allow members to call other Catholics names (ie. heretic) because they may disagree.

This app has a place to connect for all Catholics. Priests will hear your ANONYMOUS confession over a P2P encrypted, audio only, VOIP conference. The user information for these confessions is destroyed after the confession. The priest and the end user have no way of finding out who was giving the confession.

We will also be forming small groups, having web conferences, and posting video media that will all help you grow in your faith. We understand that your local church may not be the most welcoming place. Unfortunately, the church has become a museum for "good people" and not a refuge for those that need God's grace. We aim to change that.

This community may not replace your local church, but we can sure supplement it. If you haven't come to church in a long time, then this is a great place to start!
