This app contains 6 stotrams on Goddess Lakshmi.

1. Kanakadhara stotram

Kanakadhārā means "stream" (dhārā) of "gold" (kanaka), and the hymn is called by this name since legend has it that when Adi Sankara recited it, Goddess Lakshmi appeared in front of him and unleashed a stream of gold
The hymn contains a description of the beauty, personality, power and graciousness of Goddess Lakshmi. Sri Adi Sankaracharya does not distinguish between the three Goddesses of Hinduism. For him Lakshmi, Parvati and Saraswati are the same.

May She (Goddess Lakshmi) bestow (upon us) a stream of wealth through the wind of her mercy,
For I, utterly destitute and downcast by poverty, am as helpless as the newborn child of a bird,
May She (Goddess Lakshmi) remove forever the heat I suffer due to the sins of my past,
O, beloved of Narayana, may your eyes rain upon me (the shower of your mercy.)

2. Sri Suktam

Śrī Sūktam, is a Sanskrit devotional hymn revering Śrī as Lakṣmī, the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity and fertility. Śrī Sūkta is recited, with a strict adherence to the Chandas, to receive the goddess' blessings. The hymns are found in the Rig Vedic khilanis that date to pre-Buddhist times.
The Śrī Sūkta describes Śrī as glorious, ornamented, royal, lustrous as gold, and radiant as fire, moon and the sun. She is addressed as the bestower of fame, bounty and abundance in the form of gold, cattle, horses and food; and is entreated to banish her sister alakṣmī (misfortune), who is associated with need, hunger, thirst and poverty. The hymn also associates Śrī with (agrarian) fertility and she is described as the mother of Kārdama (mud), moist, perceptible through odour, dwelling in cow dung and producing abundant harvest.

3. Sri lakshmi ashtakam

Shri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam is taken from Padma Purana and this devotional prayer was chanted by Lord Indra in praise of Goddess Mahalakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi means Good Luck to Hindus. The word 'Lakshmi' is derived from the sanskrit word "Laksya", meaning 'aim' or 'goal', and she is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual In Hindu mythology, Goddess Lakshmi, also called Shri, is the divine spouse of Lord Vishnu and provides him with wealth for the maintenance and preservation of the creation. One should chant Shri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam daily to get benefits of stotra.
