The Sleep Diary is a tool to obtain insight in your sleeping pattern and the quality of your sleep. Each day, you register the sleep of the night before, in the following steps:

The Sleep Diary is a tool to obtain insight in your sleeping pattern and the quality of your sleep. Each day, you register the sleep of the night before, in the following steps:
1. Move the marker ‘I want to sleep’ to indicate the time you turned of the lights to go to sleep.
2. Move the marker ‘I want to stay awake’ to indicate the time you decided to stay awake (e.g. the time your alarm went off and/or turned on the lights).
3. Register the time you were asleep in the top bar (‘Sleep’).
4. The time you’ve spent in bed while awake needs to be indicated by the ‘Awake in bed’ bar.
5. In the bottom bar (‘Out of bed’) you indicate the time you were out of bed.
It is recommended to fill in the Sleep Diary every day to gain a full insight into your sleeping pattern.
