What is it about?
It was all a dream and Joe Dodd was able to make that dream come to life during his stay at Armature Works in 2018. Before we knew it, Tampa’s first Nashville Hot Chicken joint, King Of The Coop was born. We had found our first home right in the heart of Seminole Heights. With a location soon to open in Wesley Chapel, and currently in search of our third, King Of The Coop has gained a ton of notoriety in the Tampa Bay Area. Bold and flavorful Nashville Hot Chicken is our name. Consistency and creating a memorable experience is our game. With delicious sandwiches like our fan favorites, the Dirty Bird, and the King Mac, our hot chicken has quickly become a Tampa hot spot. It ain’t food if it ain’t fried!
