WHY BIBLE READING, PRAYER, CHRISTIAN ACTION AS STRATEGY?

WHY BIBLE READING? WE BELIEVE GOD INSPIRED THE BIBLE TO BE AN INSTRUMENT FOR KNOWING GOD BETTER AND FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO USE IN COMMUNICATING WITH US. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV

WHY PRAYER? WE BELIEVE PRAYER IS A TOOL FOR 2-WAY COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ANYONE AND GOD. JESUS USED IT EXTENSIVELY “… pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, ESV

WHY ACTION? “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22, ESV

WHY DISCIPLESHIP? “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20a, ESV
