App Store Description

What is KrillPay?
KrillPay is a financial technology company that focuses on providing financial services for African migrants. The platform leverages blockchain technology to facilitate peer-to-peer cross-border instant money transfers. A KrillPay user in the United States can send instant money transfers to another KrillPay user in Nigeria and directly into bank accounts and Mobile Money in 15 African countries.

Send and Receive Money
In the United States, a KrillPay user can send instant peer-to-peer money transfers to another KrillPay user within the country and another KrillPay user in Nigeria. In Nigeria, a KrillPay user can send an instant money transfer to another KrillPay user and directly to any Nigerian bank account.
A KrillPay user in the United States can also send remittances directly to a bank account and Mobile Money in more than 15 African countries.
Small and medium-sized businesses such as food truck vendors, gig workers, or faith-based organizations can open a KrillPay Business account and use it to receive payments.

Scan to Pay
KrillPay Scan to Pay leverages QR code technology to facilitate seamless, contactless, and secure transactions between two KrillPay users. KrillPay QR code is a two-dimensional barcode that stores information. KrillPay Scan to Pay can be used to make online and offline payments. To make a payment, simply hold your KrillPay’s QR scanner over the QR code of another KrillPay user then follow the prompts on your phone to complete the payment.

Krilltag
Krilltag @krilltag is a unique identifier that allows one KrillPay user – an individual user or a business user to send or receive money from another KrillPay user. Each @krilltag uniquely identifies a single KrillPay user and cannot be used by another user.

Multi-Currency Wallet
KrillPay's multi-currency wallet enables each user to hold multiple currencies within a single account. With your KrillPay multi-currency wallet, you can easily send peer-to-peer instant transfers to another KrillPay user and send a cross-border transfer directly to a bank account or Mobile Money. Your KrillPay’s multi-currency wallet enables you to hold multi-currencies and seamlessly exchange one currency for another at the best rates.

KYC/KYB Verifications
Most nations have established legislation mandating Financial Services Providers (FSPs) to verify their customers' identities, whether they are individuals, businesses, or other types of legal entities. These laws, often known as "know your business/customer" legislation, are motivated by international collaboration to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. KrillPay is required to perform KYC/KYB on each of our users. Without successfully passing the KYC/KYB verification, a user will not be allowed to initiate a transaction on KrillPay’s platform.
