Kurumachi

By personalizing a car model as oneself or a partner, this software stimulates the imagination and the individual, and allows participants to create the concept of their own original car. The Kurumachi focuses on considering both individual roles of self and forms of society through a combination of design process by digital media and hands-on experience constructing a paper craft.

Kurumachi is an educational app for kids to design their personal (paper)cars. By making some photos from the environment, you can create a printable car template and build your papercraft car. The app inspires imagination and expands the concept of mobility for the future generation and society.

How to use the app:
1. Taking picture that you favourite in environment to decorate your paper car with camera function on the left bottom of the app.
(You need 4 pictures for the front, back, side and top of your paper car. You can change view of the car with the top button of the app.)
2. Put the information (name etc.) with the top right button.
3. Print the file with the bottom left button.
4. Cutting the paper car along the line on the printed paper.
5. Assemble the paper car.
6. Additionally you can decorate with the other materials such as feather, beads etc…if you want!
