KwikDokita(Dr) is an on-demand doctor service app that distributes healthcare services and improves service delivery by making access to health care services simply a click away. KwikDokita(Dr), lets you access healthcare anywhere anytime/. You can book home visits, clinic visits and video consultations. KwikDokita(Dr) connects you to licensed and qualified doctors of different specialties near your locality for urgent but not emergency services. Some of our specialists include: General practitioners, paediatricians, Gynaecologists and Physio-therapists among others. Service bookings can be made between 6:30AM and 8: 30PM (East African time time), given the security situation in Uganda.

KwikDokita(Dr) allows you to create patient/client accounts for you and your family. Whenever an account is created, you can add as many members of your family or loved ones as you can .When making a booking for a healthcare service, you will have an option to book for anyone one registered under your account. You can always choose a doctor for yourself. However, a list of available doctors will be provided automatically depending on your location. KwikDokita(Dr) services are now available in Uganda.

KwikDokita(Dr) app is available for download at no cost/charge. We have no monthly fees or subscriptions. We have a variety of doctors and every doctor determines their own price for the service they deliver. During the booking process, you will see a list of doctors available in your location and the fees they charge. The doctors consultation fee is what will be charged on your account. An invoice or receipt will be issued whenever a service request/booking is completed. Payments are made through the app via credit/debit card and mobile-money platforms.
Kwikidokita(Dr) doctors are fully-licensed by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. All doctors go through vetting and background checks before they are allowed to accept bookings. When you are matched with a doctor, you will be able to see all information about the doctor and their picture. Therefore, you will know in-time who is coming to your house or who to expect at a clinic visit. Once a doctor accepts your booking, you will be able to contact the doctor through in-app messaging as well as audio and video calling to communicate any concerns or ask questions before he arrives.

A KwikDokita(Dr) visit proceeds like the usual visit to a doctor in a hospital or clinic. When a doctor arrives, they will verify your details and ask questions, diagnose your condition based on your signs and symptoms. Where need be, some tests might be run. The doctor can then provide a prescription to pick medication at a pharmacy of your choice or recommend laboratory tests or provide a medical certificate which you can take to a hospital. In some cases, the doctor may provide you with some medication on the spot.
