App Store Description

Collecting veterinary sample data in the field has always been cumbersome. Paperwork, lost data and a slow process. Not anymore.

LabCards is a complete digital solution that allows a veterinarian to easily collect veterinary sample data and send it to the local diagnostic laboratory through their mobile phone. As a result, the diagnostic laboratory can process the sample data in a much more efficient way and can then easily communicate the results back to the veterinarian‘s app.

Why LabCards?
- Easy on-farm data collection for samples through a mobile app, less hassle without forms to fill in.
- All relevant diseases, test methods and test types to choose from.
- Overview of all sent requests in your pocket.
- Convenient sample intake in the laboratory, no paperwork required.
- Fast input of test results into a web portal.
- Instant sharing of the results with the veterinarian.
- Easy identification of the farms using GPS technology.
- App includes relevant articles and videos about animal healthcare.

LabCards is made possible by the Zoetis A.L.P.H.A. (Africa Livestock Productivity and Health Advancement) Initiative together with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This unique initiative improves livestock health and productivity in Sub-saharan Africa through increased availability of veterinary medicines and
services. To ensure the initiative is sustainable, A.L.P.H.A. incorporates the development of veterinary laboratory networks and outreach services into business hubs in Ethiopia, Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania.

LabCards is key for the information management between veterinarians and these laboratory networks.

Labcards is active for veterinarians in Nigeria since October 10th. The next countries are Uganda (October 21st) and Tanzania (November). Other countries will follow.
