App Store Description

Empower your pupils to develop science skills whilst simultaneously developing vocabulary and reading skills.

A variety of different backgrounds are provided for pupils to label using a range of labels. The iPad camera can be used to capture a background image ready for labelling. Pupils can take photographs of, for example, the classroom or outdoor area, and the preset labels can be used to label the image.

Labels speak if a longer press is applied, facilitating access for pupils with reading difficulties and helping to reinforce the reading of key vocabulary. Labels feature a key word and a corresponding image, providing pictorial support for pupils.

Teachers and pupils can also use the app to create word mats that can then be printed for use in the classroom, including display.

Labels: Living Things contains six different backgrounds and forty two labels.
