App Store Description

With a clean, crisp and simple user-interface, Lamlha is a simple app-based ‘micro-service’ that increases your safety and security. Whether you’re scaling an alpine peak, hiking in the wilderness or just heading out on a local bike ride, Lamlha keeps friends and families informed of your status. It can even function as a simple flight plan for pilots or float plan for sailors.

To do this, it monitors activity plans created on a mobile device and stored in an offline database. Designated ‘Sentinels’ are sent alerts when plans are activated, extended, completed and/or OVERDUE. It’s a digital way of telling people where you’re going, what you’re doing and when you’ll be back.

Even if your mobile device is lost, damaged, stolen, out of power or unable to acquire a signal, the Lamlha service will post updates on your behalf and if necessary, inform Sentinels when an activity is overdue. As an added safety feature, alerts can be posted to social media and there’s an option to send a simple “I’m OK” (or “I’m NOT OK”) alert to key emergency contacts.
