MESSAGE
Private 1:1 and group chat. Share images, video and your location. Create or edit the name of group conversations you start. Notifications will alert you to new messages received. View information on all participants in a group chat even if you're not connected. Start an instant teleconference with your chat group with just one tap.

ALERTS
Receive critical alerts instantly from RACR and other commanders. Acknowledge received alerts with "Accept" or "Reject" status, or choose "Reply" to alert sender with additional input. Push notifications will let you know when a new alert is received. Read receipts let your coordinator know whether you've seen the alert. A backup email will let you know about an alert when you're away from your phone.

GEO-CAST
Broadcast your location to your coordinator in GridCommand. LAPD Grid will continue transmitting your location at a battery-friendly interval until you tap the button again to turn it off or logout.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
